LOS ANGELES — The American Mexican Leadership Council today reaffirmed its support for dialogue and cooperation as the formal review period begins for the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), calling on all three countries to continue strengthening the economic partnership that has benefited millions of people across North America.

“As the USMCA enters the joint review period, we’re reminded of the real benefits this agreement has brought to families, businesses, and communities in both nations—creating jobs, expanding opportunity, and strengthening our economies," said Adria Márquez Trejo, President and CEO of the American Mexican Leadership Council. "As the AMLC, we urge all three nations to continue this important partnership. Continued negotiations must keep the focus on what matters most: the small business owners, workers, and families who benefit every day from this thriving relationship between our nations."

The AMLC believes that maintaining a strong North American partnership is critical to advancing shared economic prosperity, supporting businesses of all sizes, and ensuring continued opportunity for communities across the region.
